osg-system-profiler currently verifies (runs rpm -V on) every RPM installed on the system. This takes a super long time on kernel-devel, because the RPM has a ridiculous number of files, and can have multiple versions installed.
None of those files are useful for our purposes so skip those RPMs.
It would be useful to put and end timestamp in the log so that we have an idea of how long osg-system-profiler took to run.
The PR with the required changes is here: , it’s already been apporved by , should I draft a new release a create the builds?
Testing on Madison ITB node. Run time decreased from 8' 11" to 6' 2". Progress '.'s much appreciated.
Promoted osg-system-profiler-1.5.0-1 to osg-3.5-el*-prerelease, osg-3.4-el*-rolling, osg-3.5-el*-rolling, osg-3.4-el*-prerelease
